All applications are to be submitted electronically via our online permitting system, ViewPoint.

This includes all Zoning/Building Permits and all Land Use Board Applications.

Important information on Attics / Basements

Prior to the submission of any Zoning and Building Permit applications involving the renovation of existing space in a basement or attic for a residence constructed in 2000 or prior, or the creation of new finished space in an existing basement or attic, a site inspection by a Building Official is necessary to determine if the space will comply with the Building Code requirements.  After the Building Official has inspected the site, you can then submit your application materials.  Be sure to complete, sign and submit the Basement and Attic Calculation Form (PDF).

The Basement and Attic Calculation Forms must be filled out for new construction as well.
