Human Resources Department As the Human Resources office for the Town, the primary responsibility of the Department is to assure that Town is appropriately organized and staffed to fulfill its mission by recruiting, developing, motivating, retaining and organizing the most qualified persons. The Human Resources Department engages in a number of specialized activities to accomplish this. They include recruiting and hiring, training, salary and benefits administration, performance management, employee relations and employee communications. The Human Resources Director also serves in an advisory capacity to other organizations such as the Housing Authority, the Library and the Senior Center on matters pertaining to human resources management.
