| Whoever said you had to wait until summer
to attend camp? Camp isn't just for summer any more with the Darien
Youth Commission's Vacation Programs. The Darien Youth Commission
offers children a safe, fun, and entertaining environment during the winter
and spring seasons each year. The programs are offered during the Darien
School System's February and April vacations in cooperation with the Darien
Parks and Recreation Department. Each program is
a week long, offering a variety of sports and arts and craft activities.
It is during the spring vacation program, where children have the opportunity
to build their own model boat to be entered in the Tilley Pond Model Boat
Regatta. |
