Cherry Lawn Park is a magnificent park that covers 27.5 acres off Brookside Road. The park offers a variety of passive and active recreational opportunities. There are 4 tennis courts, a basketball court, community gardens, the wonderful playground area, a natural pond, gazebo, walking trails, a multi-use field (Casey Field), a softball field, several picnic areas and a public restroom. The park is also home to the Darien Nature Center.

Cherry Lawn is one of the busiest parks in Darien. The playground area has mom and tots exploring their creativity with the modern playscape. Funds for this play area were raised by Park Pals of Darien. The Parks and Recreation Department and the Town of Darien are extremely grateful for the hard work and effort of Park Pals.
Park Pals Playground
The multi-use field is often utilized for organized soccer games or drop-in rugby games. The tennis courts are busy with several groups in town reserving the courts and our popular Future Stars Tennis lessons. The gazebo, overlooking the natural pond, offers a great place to relax or enjoy a family picnic. The community gardens are the hot spot for senior citizens in the spring and summer. Many years there is a waiting list to get a plot at the community garden. The softball field is used by the local Little League and the Adult softball league. Looking for something to do?
