DECEMBER 2020 PROGRAM UPDATE

A Message from Beth Paris, Director of Darien Senior Programs:

“There are two ways to reflect the light; to be the candle or the mirror that reflects the light”,  Edith Wharton

Hard to believe we are already in the month of December and going through a very different holiday experience for sure!  I know I sound like a broken record but if you have the capabilities of participating in our programs virtually please do so.  It really does help with feeling more connected.  If you need help with getting active utilizing technology please give us a call.  The December Newsletter looks a bit different in order to present ALL that we are offering more clearly. On December 16th the Virtual Program Circle of Light promises to be extra special and the Drive–Thru lunch that day will be our regular delicious holiday special!    Also if you have friends with no computer access encourage them to call the Center so we can reach out.  The Highlight and Happenings sheet will be in hard copy for folks to stop by and pick up between 9:00-3:00 daily.   Staff are available Monday- Friday however we will not be here Thursday December 24th and Friday the 25th.    On Behalf of Stacey, Judi, Eileen, Nino and Ramon, Happiest of Holiday–May there be laughter and smiles –celebrating in these times will bring each heart hope and HOPE is the best gift!

Go Easy! Beth
