AN OLD FASHIONED HOLIDAY

This event will definitely put you in the holiday spirit!
“An Old Fashioned Holiday” is an outdoor celebration with lights, ornament and cookie decorating, writing letters to Santa, hot cider, snacks and visits from Frosty and one of Santa’s reindeer.
The free event, organized by Darien Parks and Recreation Department, takes place from 2p.m-4p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 at Tilley Pond Park with a rain date the following day.
Come and enjoy some holiday cheer with your friends and neighbors. Take in the holiday lights and a roaring fire, while the kids decorate ornaments and cookies.
There will be a letter writing station, so kids can write letters to Santa. We will be selling festive old fashioned goodies including: hot cider, hot cocoa, cider donuts, fresh popped popcorn and candy bags with various PEZ dispensers. Thank you to both Palmer's Market (for providing our Cider and Donuts) and PEZ for partnering with us!
The event is FREE to attend. FREE parking will be available at all adjacent commuter parking lots. RSVP not required, but preferred to help us get an accurate headcount - registration does not guarantee admission, this event is first come, first served basis. When RSVP'ing, please register each attendee in your family.
We hope you will join us for craft and treats and enjoy warming up by the fire as you listen to some holiday music performances.
In the case of inclement weather, this event will take place on Sunday, December 10th, 2022 from 2-4pm at Tilley Pond.
